To celebrate the Royal Opera House’s Christmas production of Sleeping Beauty, we designed new displays for two of the Woodland fairy tutus. Printed overlays of forest foliage on to stretched fabric create striking backdrops for the exquisitely detailed tutus. Upholstered circular bases below help to frame the tutus, mimicking the ballerina on her mount inside a jewellery box.
